International Close Protection Training
This is an International course delivered outside of the UK as a tailored training program. Specifically developed for those looking to work in the close protection industry overseas, focusing on global security practices and operational strategies for close protection in diverse and sometimes austere environments.
The course
Our International Close Protection Training is a bespoke programme designed to equip you with advanced skills for operating in diverse and challenging environments as a Close Protection Officer or as part of a Personal Security Detail.
This training focuses on:

Who is it for?
This course is called The Sentinel Course and is built around the Highfields Level 3 International Certificate in Close Protection as it's core qualification.
To enhance each graduates skills for overseas PSD roles, we offer additional courses and modules that are delivered separately, some are Highfield accredited courses, such as the Level 3 International Award in Emergency First Aid at Work. Optional modules, that sit outside of the Highfield Level 3 CPP syllabus and are not Highfield accredited, include:
The Hostile Environment Close Protection Operators module (HECPO).
Firearms Competency & Live - Fire Skills module.
Further operational enhancements are available, including, vehicle tactics / VCQB, CQB refreshers, comms, fieldcraft etc.
Our instructors are routinely deployed on live operations and their knowledge and skills are constantly tested and updated in real world environments, so whether you want to build on your current skills, learn some new ones or you simply need to 'knock the rust off', our team are here to help and guide you.
Note: All graduates are automatically enrolled in our alumni network, where we support and advise each other on up coming projects, deployments, training oppertunities and updates.
